It’s my first “Sundays in My City” with my new blog! Yay! A great way to cap my first week.
This weekend I visited the Texas Hill Country and while I am not naturally a country girl, I could not resist the great beauty!
Check out my friend Unknown Mami and travel the world’s cities with her…

Sure looks relaxing and perfectly wonderful!
It really is nice to step back a little and slow down a bit. And let me tell you, that porch was the place to do it.

The tree swing is calling my name! You usually only ever find fun ones like that in the country.
Your pictures are great and it’s clear from the colors that it’s nearing fall in your area– so beautiful.
Have a great weekend. jj PS Your new blog looks fantastic.
The tire swing was awesome! It was a hit with the kids (and me!)
Thanks for the kind words on the blog — it’s Lee’s magic!

Relaxing indeed…but where are all the people?
Happy Sunday!
Everyone was inside in the cool while I stood outside snapping pictures. LOL!

I used to live in Forest Hills, Queens — miss it a lot. I’m from Texas and my hubby was a New Yorker. Small world.
Have a great week!

it looked hot, was it?
It was hot. Not as bad as it has been — we had a 107 degree day the week before.
Thanks for stopping by.

I love the swing on the tree. It reminds me of childhood.
