My daughter said the most AMAZING thing to me. It was pre-bed cuddle time. We had watched a Veggie Tale episode about not being scared in bed (a BIG deal in this house!) because God is bigger than monsters.
She turned to me and said, “Mommy, do you know that God will never leave you?”.
I said, “Yes. Because he loves you! Who else loves you?” She then proceeds to list… “Mommy.”
“Yes, and…”
“Daddy.”
“Yes, and…”
“(Sonny-Bunny).”
“Yes, and…”
“Me! I love me!”
More beautiful words I have rarely heard.
I need to take a page out of her book. Awesome.
Me too! They say God sends us children to teach us something about ourselves and she has done that for me! Now if I can keep from screwing her up!
