Shining the Star-Light #2

Boy, do I have a  Star-Light to shine!!! The University of Texas football team braved the 104 degree heat and had a Meet and Greet with the families of local military. They gave out autographs, posed for pictures, and all-in-all were great sports sharing their appreciation of the men and women who serve and their families.

My son’s tough man pose!

One of my favorite moments!

My kids had a great time although my son was completely shell-shocked seemingly unable to speak.  My husband felt very proud and appreciated and that made me very happy. While we were all sweating – seriously sweating! – we were all smiling — SERIOUSLY smiling!

So, thank you UT, the awesome football players and coach, and to all who made this happen. You deserve the Star-Light!
