Last summer, I shared that the Harlem Globetrotters were headed out on tour and they finally made it to Austin! I had the pleasure of taking my son and one of his best “pals” (With his mom — one of my pals) to see them at the Frank Erwin Center. It was especially poignant to me as Sonny-Bunny is the same age as was I when I discovered the Globetrotters.
And boy, did we have fun!
We started out with sno-cones…
Because what’s a better way to start an evening than with a blue tongue? And with a blast and a cloud of smoke, out came the stars of the night — the Harlem Globetrotters!
And then the fun began…
And if our tongue wasn’t quite blue enough, we had to have blue cotton candy, as well…
A big thanks to the Globetrotters and US Family Guide for such a special evening! (US Family Guide provided me with tickets to help promote and review the tour. The opinions and blue tongued child are all mine.)

That looks like such a fun show! I’m gonna go in March and now I REALLY can’t wait!
It was awesome. My friend and I had as much fun as our boys!!!
