You’re here.
That makes you a star.
You ready to #shinebrightly?
Yeah, me too!
Come see me at the place:
A Star in My Universe

Talk. Talk. Talk.
I’ve been accused of talking too much and with my new project I will be doing a lot more!!!
Sorry to put you on hold but I have a secret to share in a couple of weeks.

Star Trek: Prodigy
Since then, Kirk and his team have had more than one incarnation, and other Captains have flown to go where no others have gone. Into this front has entered an animated crew for the 7+ crew, alas perfect for my 1979 self and for the 2023 crew — Star Trek: Prodigy.

Be Fabulous
You’re here to shine and shinebrightly . Being fabulous doesn’t mean being perfect, it means being your best self in that moment. So, rethink your answer. You may be more fabulous than you think!

Time to Ignite a Spark
Every year I choose a word and this year, I chose "spark" because I am ready to light up the world.

A Gift in the Garden
Lenny and Lion are tasked with setting up a theatre for the Christmas pageant. As you can imagine, things don’t go smoothly, but the lesson they learn isn’t about how better to manage a project. Instead, they learn that it is never too late for a heart to be changed by the Christmas spirit.

Read the Room: Gift Books
I thought I would share some fun book choices here for gift ideas.

Mommy Kissing Santa
When it’s been 35 years since your first kiss, and you have two teens, you have a little fun embarrassing your daughter who’s making the video, 😜😜😜

Where Are You, Christmas?
I’m not quite Cindy Lou, but you get the idea. It’s definitely been a big year and I’ve definitely changed.

Wonderful (Silly) Christmastime
We’re simply having a wonderful Christmastime with Paul McCartney and a leftover piece from my daughter’s Halloween costume as Kate Bush. The only thing better than dancing around to silly music at the holidays is to be equally silly. In this case, I’m your girl.

O, Christmas Tree
Day One - O, Christmas Tree
I often say to my husband, “you’re a good man, Charlie Brown” and this little DollarTree is a good little Charlie Brown tree.

The Countdown has Begun
I really love Christmas. Like, if Clark Griswald had discovered Michael Bublé after learning that Ralph was his real father, loves Christmas.

Hearts and Spirits Grow
A new series on Pure Flix tells the tale of Lenny the Lion and Lucy the Lamb, who work inside a magical garden where anything can grow! The stories revolve around the two taking adventures and accomplishing their goals by learning a Bible story or an original song. The kids get to grow and learn right along on these adventures, too!

Listen Up: An Audible Gift Guide
I thought I would share my favorite audibles with you here. If you are looking for a way to still enjoy books yourself, or as a unique gift for a similarly busy person, read on or listen up.

It’s a Strange World
It’s a Strange World. Well, we knew that one. Of course, as an 80’s girl, I can’t help but hear the melancholic refrain of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears. This candy-colored world is a Disney one, however, so there is no long-standing melancholy.
Just fun. Strange fun, as to be expected.

A Journey Home
Sam is a tiny kitten that we follow from a pocket in an overcoat of a woman living on the streets to life on a farm. Throughout we hear from all of the colorful characters along the way, learning each’s perspective of the world that Max was entering.

Swept Up with the Leaves
Let's talk some tea. It's not just the leaves that has been swept up lately. Much like the smaller leaves curled up and lost under piles of more and more leaves, items from my to-do list have fallen off and been forgotten under more and more undone things.

Election Day
So while we should never take our right to express ourselves for granted, we should also never take for granted the importance of a appreciating our other citizens’ right to do the same. Civility and kindness don’t have to be rights to be the right thing to do. We don’t have to agree to agree to be civil.

Power of Joy
I could write so much more here. In fact, I took copious notes and just hit delete over three full paragraphs. Words would not do this film justice. You simply must see it.
It’s a big film masquerading as a small one.
Find it.
See it.
