Writing Every Day in May -- Day 5: Favorite Blogger

Today's prompt was to choose a favorite blogger. Uh... hello? Can we say impossible task? I love so many blogs for so many different reasons that it became a bigger quandary than choosing yesterday's quote. How could I pick just one? I read Momma blogs, food blogs, craft blogs, book blogs, even political blogs. I love local blogs and have friends all over the planet.And then, I have my tribe, my girls, my crew -- equally different.  (They know who they are and just how much they mean to me!) How could I choose? I could not.So I went back to the first blogger who reached out to me. A friend IRL, we had been separated by miles and time. Through the magic of Facebook, we had found each other again. When I revealed to her that I began blogging, she shared that she was about four months down that very road. She welcomed me, taught me about blogger etiquette (linkbacks, anyone) and gave me my first award. That award made me cry, BTW, big, fat tears.She has hosted a meme, "Sundays in My City" almost all this time and it is a rare week that I miss it. It's a fun chance to look at our own world with the same wonder that carry when we travel. I get to live vicariously through her as she still lives in the city of my heart -- San Francisco.

Over the years, we have both grown and she has become something of a SuperStar Blogger especially in the Latina community. So it seemed even more than fitting on Cinco de Mayo and on a Sunday to introduce my beautiful friend and Blogger Inspiration, Claudya Martinez AKA Unknown Mami. Please check her out.
