Travel the World Thursday #4 -- Alcazaba of Malaga
Welcome to another edition of Travel the World Thursday. Today, Sonny Bunny is traveling to Malaga, Spain courtesy of the lovely Dorothy from Far From Kansas. But before I get started, I must make amends on two fronts. First to Dorothy who was kind enough to mail us several packages this summer, thank you and I apologize for the delay. The kids and I have been at the grandparents and I just got a stack from hubby. So we will be catching up (in no particular order). Thank you for all the lovely things you send. The kids adore them!Secondly, I owe Sonny-Bunny an apology as he worked very hard on a return letter (shown here); including clipping the corners, adding glitter, and describing in great detail his love of Minecraft. He did all this and then entrusted the letter to Mommy (namely ME) to make sure said PenPal letter arrived safely at the Post Office for its international flight. MOMMY FAIL! Said letter has disappeared into one of the many cubbies, bags, or other Bermuda Triangle style vortexes in my life. I am sure I will find it but in the mean, he would like Dorothy to know he likes everything and he is writing a new letter. A new letter that he wants to personally deliver to the Post Office -- can't say I blame him!Now that we have cleared that up... look at the latest beautiful postcard my little man got!
Here he is opening and reading it. He really loves getting mail!
And here he is reading the postcard -- and yes, next time I should read the postcard before having him read it. The first time he said Malaga I thought he was saying Mecca and prompted him incorrectly... alas. But he's still pretty darn cute, if you ask me!Thanks to Dorothy, Traci from Traci's Mixed Bag and Petty Witter from Pen and Paper for helping us travel the world. Check out our Map Fling here to see all the great places we have visited so far!P.S. If you would like to join in, please email me at startraci@gmail.com. This has been a great treat for my kids and me!
