*******************************************************************************************************It has been an up and down week. Between the STAAR tests and the Fort Hood shootings, our family has been very stressed. I am glad that the week is over and we can start again. I am still praying for the families involved in the tragedy. I also want to thank you for all the support I have received. Sharing my thoughts on testing and PTSD was difficult and I felt embraced, so please accept my immense gratitude. This is my chief reason for blogging after all these years -- the community. And for those who asked about my son, he is relieved that this set of tests is over and has bounced back pretty well. :-)On another note, I have had a series of funny conversations with my daughter. I wish I had a recorder running all the time because I can't keep up. I keep wanting to write them down but so often she shares the best thoughts while I'm driving. One I thought I'd share was an unintentional innuendo laden conversation. Some of you may know that my daughter is obsessed with Justin Bieber. As a reminder, here she was on her birthday:

And as she is Believer, she wants to listen to the Believe CD every time she gets in the car. (Her poor brother regrets choosing that for her gift!) The rest of the family may not feel the same -- LOL! At the mature age of seven, she also tries to sound cool. She has decided that speaking in initials is very hip. Now you may see where this is going... She is in the back and I turn on the radio. This conversation followed:Little Diva: Mommy, play BJ, I want BJ!Me: Uh, what?LD: You know, Justin Bieber. Play Justin Bieber.Me: (fighting laughter) You mean JB. Please say JB.LD: Okay, Mommy. JB. Please JB.Me: (still laughing) You got It.LD: What's so funny?Me: Nothing baby, nothing...

So that's my frags for the week. What has you fragmented this Friday? You can find other Fragmented friends over at Half-Past Kissin' Time.
