Finance Friday - Continuing the Journey with #BankingReimagined
Over the last few weeks, I have been thrilled to share with you my experiences with Capital One's new #BankingReimagined program. They are truly redesigning the banking experience.
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.It is my Universe, after all.
With the #BankingReimagined Tour, I boarded a bus taking me on a journey far beyond wheels. I looked at dreams and values that started me on a path to financial security, emotional security.
My financial future has always been a murky, even scary place on the map. Think Fire Swamp in “The Princess Bride”. Yeah. Seriously.
Finding my feet on my Financial Journey with #BankingReimagined
The journey continued with an amazing personal Money Coaching session. With Amanda’s help, I took that fire-y swamp of fear and started drawing paths through based on my values. From here...

But the journey doesn’t stop there. Capital One’s committed to changing the banking landscape is continuing with the Capital One Café. Two are coming to Austin! Now before you envision another banking branch filled with windows and chain-attached pens, this is an entirely different place. It truly is a café – Peet’s Coffee and local artisan pastries. Whether you are a Capital One customer or not, people will be able to walk in and relax with a cup of coffee and free wifi. Have a financial question? You’ll be able to chat with an Ambassador. Trust me, this is a non-judgment zone. I mean, if they’ll talk to me, they’ll talk to anyone! 😉 But it’s about more than that. This is a commitment to community. The conference rooms are available to local non-profits, students or anyone who wants to host a powwow. The building design will reflect local design and architecture. In Austin, I know we want Austin to stay Austin even though our little city is growing exponentially. Capital One gets that. At each location, they commission a local artist to create a beautiful mural.
So, Austin, stay tuned. Much is to follow. Just like me on my journey. I’ll keep you posted on both.A big thank you to Capital One for placing me on my journey. I guess I just needed to be on the map – my financial map, that its.

Not in Austin? There are locations in in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Richmond, San Francisco and St. Cloud. And they have plans to open in Seattle and South Florida later this year. I can’t recommend Capital One’s vision enough!
