Well, I used to say travel but somehow, this crazy retired military family of four is planning on doing that via this...
Though it won't paddle across the pond to Europe so maybe I'd travel internationally. And a non-kill safari followed by the pyramids and the Acropolis would rock.I can imagine a beachfront home in Florida and a fog-surrounded Victorian in San Francisco. I would love a century old lighthouse up the Maine coast and a Village brownstone in NYC. If money was no object, I wouldn't have one mega mansion, I would love to restore character homes all over.But really, I think I would do this...
- Help build St. Jude's hospitals in every major city so sick children everywhere could get the help they need without bankrupting their parents.
- Support Vitamin Angels and get prenatal vitamins to women all around the world.
- I would buy mosquito nets so kids wouldn't get malaria.
- I would build a homeless shelter in my brother's name. He was a great collector of wounded birds.
- If money were no object, I would throw it at any problem that could be fixed with money. Sadly, that's not every problem but it would do a lot.
I would also make sure that my very hard working parents and mother-on-law never had to worry for anything and my kids never had to make a university choice based on cost.I'm sure if money was sitting around gathering dust, I could come up with more but this would be a good start.
